Fundraising is easy with online fundraising tools! When you registered for the Race you automatically received your own fundraising website which can be personalized. Start now by logging in, and encouraging everyone you know to visit your site, see what you are doing in the fight against breast cancer and make a donation on your behalf.
Ask for donations using our online tools
We have tried to make it easy as possible for you. When you register for the Race online, a personal webpage is created automatically for you!
Your Participant Center allows you to personalized a webpage as well as set fundraising goals and send emails to your family and friends to request donations also known as pledges. Just send out an email to whom you would like to give the opportunity to support you and watch for the response.
You will be notified when a donation is made so that you can be sure to thank your donor. Thank you email templates are also provided but you can always add your own touch.
Please remember that even if you registered by mail, you can still fundraise online. If you provided us with a valid email address, your username and password will be emailed to you. If you did not provide us with your email address, please email us at email@example.com for your username and information on how to set up your password.
Ask your friends and family for donations in person or over the phone. A personal request for a donation is generally the most effective way to receive a donation. $100, $50, $20, or $5. No donation is too small. Remember, it all adds up.
Don’t be afraid to ask. And it’s okay if someone says they can’t support you this year, be sure to ask them next year.
Friends can make a donation to support you visting this page and by clicking the link "Sponsor a Participant". Or you can send them the custom URL address you can create when you login to your Participant Center. You can also download the printable Pledge Form to keep track of your donations.
As you collect donations, please have friends and family give cash and check donations directly to YOU, with your name indicated in the memo field of checksor even a note in the envelope indicating the Participant's name. Please make checks payable to Central Florida Race for the Cure.
Mail-in fundraising forms must be received by Wednesday, November 19, 2014 for donations to be credited toward your fundraising goal. Any forms received after that date will be counted as general Race donations. Forms should be mailed to:

PLEASE NOTE: Please DO NOT send individual pledge donation checks without a pledge tracking form to Komen Central Florida. Individual checks turned in without a pledge tracking form will not be credited to the participant's fundraising efforts as these are very difficult to track and credit to the appropriate participant. Donations can also be turned in at the Donations Tent during Race weekend (Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 10am-4pm and Sunday, October 12, 2014.)
Did you know that many companies will match the contribution their employees make? Matching funds from participating companies are a great way to multiply the impact of your pledge raising efforts! Your donation will go twice as far!
