On behalf of the Race Committee and Affiliate Board of Directors, we would like to thank each and every one of you for your help in making our 11th Annual Race our most successful Central Florida Race For The Cure® yet. As a result of your significant efforts and dedication, we have raised almost $500,000 for the 2007 Race for the Cure. As a result of the 2007 Race and other events held by the Central Florida Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, we were able to grant out approximately $550,000 to our local community. This money will help fund breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs in our nine county service area. In addition, we were able to contribute over $130,000 to fund breast cancer research programs to help find the cure!
